Hello and welcome — and thanks for visiting. ResCon1, my blog and website, is still being designed and built, so bear with me. There are still a lot of design features, both aesthetic ¬†and substantive, that have yet to be developed.

Moreover, this site eventually will¬†serve as an archive for just about everything that I’ve ever written and published. And, of course, all of my new articles and posts will be published here as well. We’ll also be engaging many more bloggers and colleagues. Stay tuned.

John — I replied to a recent comment you made on Hufpo and asked a couple of questions I am eager to hear your answers on.

A “well-meaning” liberal commentator advised me I was wasting my time and was very snarky about how you’d never answer me. Please, please prove her wrong. I hate the way most liberals on Hufpo automatically assume all conservatives are idiots and will never take part in polite dialogue.

Thanks for your note — and my apologies for this belated response. I’ve just been harried, but will respond soon to your questions.

Do you feel wise reading over your own comments and posts about Herman Cain? I just looked them over, and boy, you should be a little sheepish, no?

No, not at all. Cain may be the only candidate in history driven out of a presidential race because of wholly unverifiable allegations — allegations for which there is no real evidence.

Doesn’t it bother you that a good and decent man has been smeared based on rumor and innuendo by people with blatantly illicit and ulterior motives?

The fact remains: black conservatives such as Cain are viciously attacked and smeared by the liberal elites, and this smearing is countenanced and condoned within the popular culture.
